An undermount sink is installed underneath the worktop and to achieve a perfect finish – whether you choose a flush or reveal cut – the sink must be used as a template to cut the worktop. Undermount sinks are generally suitable for installation with the following types of worktops: natural wood, granite, quartz, ceramic, glass, corian, solid laminate and stainless steel. Please note: Due to the way in which granite sinks are manufactured, it is very difficult to achieve a jet black colour. Granite sinks are always slightly towards a dark grey colour, and for a perfect jet black finish we would recommend looking at our range of ceramic kitchen sinks.
